The Demography Annual Fund

The Demography Annual Fund is vital for our day-to-day work–including research, graduate student support, undergraduate support, teaching, student services, and faculty recruitment. Gifts from our alumni and friends will ensure that our Department remains competitive in attracting the top students, researchers, and faculty in the world. Thank you for your support!

Join the Social Sciences Dean’s Circle

The Social Sciences Dean’s Circle  (formerly known as “The Charter Hill Society for the Social Sciences) is a community of more than 250 committed donors who make a three-year pledge of $1,000 or more per year to the departmental annual fund(s) of their choosing. Your participation as a member of the Dean’s Circle supports cutting-edge research and teaching, and ensures that Berkeley Demography students and faculty continue to do their best work.

Joining the Social Sciences Dean’s Circle is a convenient way to package your annual giving into a multi-year pledge, allowing our academic leadership to plan into the future. Our members receive custom newsletters, communications, and advance invitations to special events, both virtual and in person. We also hold member networking events in the Bay Area, around the country, and overseas.

To learn how you can join our Social Sciences Dean’s Circle, please contact a member of our team at socialsciences@berkeley.edu or simply make a 3-year gift of $1,000 or more a year to Berkeley Demography .
